Total War fans have been accustomed to mod support and Steam Workshop compatibility, but because of the Warhammer IP restrictions the feature had been in doubt for this game.
In fact, the development team will apparently assist the modders in preparing their mods to be ready for release day (May 24th). Creative Assembly just sent out a press release confirming that Total War: Warhammer will get official mod support, including Steam Workshop.
